Wow.  The response to the D’Bunchovous concert, coming up this weekend, has been phenomenal.  Look, my advice is that you call Peg Grubb at 707-763-0100 and pick up some advance tickets ($15.00) because there are only 25 seats left.

This is the band that I recently wrote about, that actually has FUN when they play, besides being superior musicians – hey, what the world needs now, is fun, more fun!

The show is March 20 at 7:00PM at the Petaluma Arts Center – which is actually living up to it’s name!  It’s a nice venue to hear music in.  Update to the update:  you can also email Peg at  hotgrubb@comcast.net

If it’s any consolation to those of you who are slow to respond to invitations to join in the fun and magic of real artists, I’m going to post a couple of MP3’s of a couple of their original tunes on Friday.

Here’s advance notice of a very important show: – the musical community has organized a benefit for Taku – the incredibly gifted guitar builder, who was murdered in his shop in Rohnert Park last month.  The benefit will help his wife close up their affairs here and get back home to Japan.

What a sad story this is!

The benefit will feature Robben Ford, and Tuck & Patty — both owners of Taku’s instruments.  It will be held at the Phoenix Theater on Sunday May 23rd – with a silent auction as part of the event.

This is going to be a world class show, with artists who operate at that same level of fun as our own D’Bunchovous folks.

Act now if you want to see the D’Bunchovous show.  And mark your calendars for the Taku benefit.
