As promised, here are the musicians who are contributing their music and energy to “To HAITI with LOVE!”

Oh? Where and when? OK – Thursday February 18th at McNear’s Mystic Theatre — the show begins at 6:30 PM, it’s FREE ($10.00 donation suggested), and it’s all ages, so families and youngsters are welcome. It’s our community and everyone is invited!

OK — the musicians:

What? The raffle and silent auction? Yes! there are lots of cool items and great prizes – this is a chance to help out a worthy cause while making a major score! So bring some extra cash!

And now, the musicians:

You’re hungry? Go to restaurantshelpinghaiti.com for a complete listing of the Petaluma restaurants that are generously contributing a percentage of the night’s proceeds to the effort in Haiti. This is one of Ken O’Donnell’s brilliant ideas – to enlist the entire nightlife community of our community in support of the benefit — Ken of course is the guiding light behind McNear’s Mystic Theatre — which we all know is a treasure in the heart of Petaluma!

Finally, dog-gone-it, the musicians: Hot Buttered Rum Trio (Nate Kee

Oh for heavens sake! 100% of the proceeds are going to Doctors Without Borders — one of the highest integrity organizations now operating (literally) in Haiti.

Read this quick: Hot Buttered Rum Trio (Nate Keefe, Aaron Redner & Eric Yates) – members of Poor Man’s Whiskey (Eli Jebediah and George Smeltz) – Sean Hayes -Jeff Miller (New Monsoon) – Jeffrey Halford – the Sonoma Winter Roots Band (members of Brothers Comatose, Mr. December, The Easy Leaves, and Green String Farm Band) – Jessie De Natale – the Incubators – Erik Stieg (of Swampthang) -Sean Leahy -Jimmy Leslie – Jamison Smeltz, and TOMMY CASTRO!

Brian Griffith, from the morning KRSH 95.9 FM will be M.C.ing the show (did you know that his morning drive shows are at the top of the charts for local radio? – He’s an awesome dude!) and, I’ll be there to create a moment of silence, reflection and connection with our brothers and sisters in Haiti. So plan on being quiet for one minute.

Once again, I never ask you to do this, but I’m asking right now: please copy or forward this blog – email it to your email list of family and friends — the need is so serious, and this night is a truly magical opportunity to create the needed resources for the people of Haiti — this really is “To Haiti with LOVE!”

Thank you!
